LETS MAKE HISTORY!!!

The SGI-USA is an American Buddhist organization whose mission is to contribute to peace, culture and education based on the philosophy and ideals of the Buddhism of Nichiren Daishonin.  The youth members of SGI-USA in Northern California are UNITING more than ever toward these ideals!  This year, we will be holding a "World Peace Day" celebration at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre in San Francisco on Sunday, March 14th.  This will be the day when the youth of Northern California and their friends stand up for PEACE and JUSTICE.

You may have already heard that the Northern California youth members have initiated a campaign for peace through the individual happiness of each person.   Together, we are determined to introduce 1,000 of our friends to our Buddhist practice this year, through sincere dialogue and care for each person.  In keeping with this determination, our goal is to have 1,000 SGI-USA members and 1,000 guests attend our World Peace Day Celebration.  Together, let’s make this World Peace Day movement an historic one, a time we will look back to 20 or 50 years from now with the deep conviction that a new, dynamic movement for peace, culture and education was initiated by the youth of Northern California. See you there!
